Lemon Garlic Shrimp & Grits
Ingredients:
          
        ¾ Cup Instant Grits
              
              
              
            Salt and Pepper to taste
              
              
              
            ¼ Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
              
              
              
            3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
              
              
              
            1 lb Philly Texas Raised Shrimp
              
              
              
            2 Cloves Minced Garlic
              
              
              
            1 Pinch Cayenne Pepper (optional)
              
              
              
            ½ Lemon, juiced
              
              
              
            2 Tbsp Chopped Parsley
              
              
              
            Preparation:
          
        1. Boil 3 cups of water.
              
              
              
            2. Add salt and pepper to Philly shrimp.
              
              
              
            3. Melt butter on a pan then add Philly shrimp, cayenne and garlic.
              
              
              
            4. Philly shrimp should take 2-4 minutes to cook.
              
              
              
            5. Once Philly shrimp are cooked, add parsley, lemon juice and a splash of water to the pan.
              
              
              
            6. Add grits to the boiling water.
              
              
              
            7. Stir grits with a whisk.
              
              
              
            8. Lower the heat to medium-low.
              
              
              
            9. Add salt and pepper to grits while you’re stirring.
              
              
              
            10. In about 5 minutes, the grits should thicken.
              
              
              
            11. Add butter and parmesan.
              
              
              
            12. Turn off the heat and mix until combined.
              
              
              
            13. Keep the grits covered until they’re ready to serve.
